Fluorocarbon has a refractive index very close to water, making the hooklink virtually invisible to wary carp on pressured venues. The supple construction allows the hookbait to behave naturally on the hair, improving bite-to-conversion rate compared to stiffer materials. Sinks faster than monofilament, helping the hooklink pin down to the lakebed for a tangle-free, natural-looking presentation.
