The Korda Probe Marker Lead is a specialist sinker designed for feature-finding and lake bed mapping. The unique shape of the Probe lead transmits clear feedback through the rod tip as it is dragged slowly across the lake bed, allowing the angler to distinguish between different bottom compositions — gravel, silt, weed, clay, and hard spots — by the feel of the resistance and vibration transmitted through the braided line and rod.

Finding and marking features such as gravel bars, silt pockets, weed edges, and drop-offs is a critical element of carp fishing, and the Probe Marker Lead is designed to be as effective as possible at this task when used alongside a marker float setup.
