Korda - Shot on the Hook 0.40g

Korda Shot on the Hook for carp rig buoyancy fine-tuning. 0.40g weight. A tiny tungsten shot designed to be crimped directly onto the hook shank to add a precise amount of weight to balance pop-up and wafter hookbaits. Pinching the shot securely to the hook shank with pliers or the back of a pair of scissors places the weight as close to the hook point as possible, pulling the hookbait down fractionally without affecting natural movement on the lakebed. The 0.40g version provides a mid-range option for standard pop-ups and wafters where slightly more correction weight is required. Particularly effective on critically-balanced presentations where the hookbait needs to be "nailed down" at a precise depth to prevent ejection by wary carp. Available in 0.30g, 0.40g, and 0.50g weights. Supplied as a pack of shot for multiple rig-building sessions. Compatible with all standard carp hook patterns. SKU KMW016.
