Korda - Shot on the Hook 0.50g

Korda Shot on the Hook for carp rig buoyancy fine-tuning. 0.50g weight. A tiny tungsten shot designed to be crimped directly onto the hook shank to add a precise amount of weight to balance pop-up and wafter hookbaits. Pinching the shot securely to the hook shank with pliers or the back of a pair of scissors places the weight as close to the hook point as possible, pulling the hookbait down fractionally without affecting natural movement on the lakebed. The 0.50g version is the heaviest in the Shot on the Hook range, suited to larger pop-ups, buoyant hookbaits, or situations where the hookbait requires significant correction to achieve a critically-balanced or slow-sinking presentation. Particularly effective when fishing over light debris or fine silt where a heavier hook-mount correction prevents the hookbait from resting high above the lead.
